2027
Open Enrollment

Open Enrollment runs November 2 through November 16, 2026. Your elections take effect January 1, 2027.

Open Enrollment is your once-a-year chance to review your benefits, make changes and enroll for the coming year. This year is an active enrollment. Your current benefits will not roll over, so you must log in to Employee Navigator and complete your elections by November 16 to have coverage in 2027.

What’s changing for 2027

New: Garner Health

Garner helps you find top-quality, in-network doctors in your area. When you see a Garner Top Provider, you can be reimbursed for medical copays and deductible expenses: up to $2,000 for individual coverage and $4,000 for families on the PPO 2750 and PPO 6000, or $1,000 and $2,000 on the HDHP. On the HDHP, you must meet your annual deductible before you’re eligible for Garner reimbursement.

New: $50 health screening benefit

Beginning in January 2027, employees and dependents enrolled in any of the supplemental health coverages through The Hartford can earn a $50 benefit for getting a preventive health screening, such as an annual physical, well-child exam, dental or eye exam, mammogram or colonoscopy.

New: Enroll in Employee Navigator

This year, you’ll enroll in Employee Navigator. Your 2026 elections won’t appear there, so to review your current coverage, log in to your existing benefits portal separately.

How to enroll

  1. Go to Employee Navigator and register as a new user. Enter your first and last name, date of birth, the last 4 digits of your Social Security number and the company identifier Lumexa.
  2. Select Begin Enrollment and check that your personal information is correct and up to date.
  3. Review the plan details and make your elections for yourself and your dependents.
  4. Before you finish, review your enrolled plans, total per-paycheck costs, dependent elections and declined coverages. When you’re ready, click to sign and complete your enrollment.

What you need to do

  • Review what’s changing and look over your current coverage in your existing benefits portal.
  • Check that your doctors are in network. Search for medical providers on UMR (Choice Plus network), dentists on Ameritas (select Classic PPO) and eye doctors on EyeMed.
  • Think about the year ahead. If you expect more care than usual, compare the HDHP, PPO 2750 and PPO 6000 on total cost, not just your paycheck contribution. See Medical Plans and Employee Costs.
  • Choosing the HDHP? Decide how much to put in your Health Savings Account to have for deductible and other out-of-pocket costs.
  • Re-elect your flexible spending accounts if you want them for 2027. See Flexible Spending Accounts.
  • Know the surcharges. A $150 monthly working spouse surcharge and a $100 monthly tobacco surcharge may apply. See Eligibility.
  • Review your beneficiaries for life and AD&D insurance.
  • Complete your enrollment by November 16, 2026.

Hired or newly eligible during or after Open Enrollment?

Are you newly hired or newly eligible? If your benefits start in November or December, you’ll need to complete two enrollments:

  • In your existing benefits portal, for benefits covering the rest of 2026
  • In Employee Navigator, for your 2027 benefits

If your benefits start January 1, 2027 or later, you’ll enroll only in Employee Navigator.
